Fall Back

Just dropping by to say…

I still intend to blog and all but my mind has a gazillion things it wants to do.

Funny thing is, I am writing this now at work because our systems are down (except our internet is working. haha) and we’re still supposed to stay here in the office. Kind of useless in terms of work productivity but helpful to me because I’ve finally taken the time to sit down and write something on the blog. Even if this is merely free writing, with minimal editing and hardly makes sense. Also I got to read/reply to comments I have not read in months!

April Projects and Books

Hello! Long time no post!

Challenge of the Month Update

This April I did not do my usual Challenge of the Month. I planned on doing some exercise of  7 mins per day but it turned out that I always walked on weekdays for 15 mins or more and on weekends for various reasons.

I altered  my challenge of the month to the more fluid and forgiving 30 day challenge because I don’t feel limited to starting and ending challenges on the 1st and 30th of the month. Instead, I can start at any time then take a break after I finish a challenge to fully celebrate it and reflect on the next challenge.

Culinary Gifts for Friends and Family Visiting Vancouver, Canada

One time, my aunt-in-law flew in from North Carolina to Vancouver for a conference. We met her and her family for dimsum.

Unfortunately, I didn’t prepare a welcome gift and I promised myself never again would I be caught thoughtless and empty-handed! Not that she minded but it would have been a gracious gesture.

A gift for visiting family or friends shouldn’t be so hard! I researched some of the possibilities.  If you ever visit me in Vancouver, remind me of these if I don’t remember them myself:
